Responsibilities:
Teaching programs to toddlers, kids, youth and adults (classes, camps and workshops)
Instructing classes in our space and on location
curriculum development such as brainstorming lesson plans in STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, art and math)
Preparing teaching materials
Working alongside staff and volunteers
Communicating with clients

Qualifications:
Several years experience working with toddlers, children and/or youth in educational settings
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Confident presenting to a large group
Strong classroom management skill
High energy and strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently
Critical thinking skills, stress tolerance, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to take initiative
Excellent customer service skills to liaison and communicate with children, parents and customers effectively
Commitment to the position as we are looking for team members who want to grow in their careers and grow within this business
Bonus:
Bachelor of Education, Masters of Education, Early Childhood Education or degrees in Fine Art or Science
Experience leading kids in an experiential learning setting such as school, summer camp, and museums
Have access to car
Valid driver’s license
First aid training
Police reference clearance
